Moments Like These...

I scored two goals today!!!
Finally got to play as an attacker.

I think the feeling of scoring a goal on behalf of ten other people is probably one of the best feelings in the world.
I did miss some chances and i felt that the second goal was a really lucky one.
But for the first time, as i glided past the defender and cut through the air on the flank while chasing after that round magical object, i felt that i was fast.
I felt like i could actually make something out of nothing.
I felt powerful for that brief few seconds.
I felt that this was me.

But then again, we fought against a weaker team and anyone else would probably be able to score if they were played as a striker.
Nonetheless, i am immensely grateful to coach for giving me the opportunity to play as a striker for thirty minutes.
These thirty minutes of my life will be something worth reminiscing ten years down the road.
