"Iran's election body begins partial vote recount
Posted: 29 June 2009 1331 hrs

TEHRAN: Iran's top election body on Monday began a partial recount of the fiercely disputed presidential election, after opposition demonstrators defiantly faced off against riot police in Tehran. ... "

walao when i saw this i slammed my table.
what's next ?
i wonder how Mousavi and Co. deal with this.
will the people accept this?

Are you willing to risk losing everything for something you so wholeheartedly believe in?

this is definitely 44 times more interesting than common tests.

fuck, still left with 2 more chapters of math.

When i do math,
I think of Ms Chua.
& when i think of Ms Chua,
I get back to doing math.

yes, that's how guilty she makes you feel, when you deserve it, that is.

stumbled upon this,

Here is an interview with the player(Lionel Messi) conducted on May 18th, 2009 before tonight’s big game.

Q: Can you explain your type of play and how it developed?
No, I can’t. I couldn’t tell you. My type of play……I didn’t do anything to make it happen. I tried to improve and kept learning new things. But my style of play has been the same since I was a young boy.

Q: Does a team need a player who can make a difference on the pitch?
I don’t know whether it’s necessary but it’s good. It’s good to have a different kind of player in your team. We are lucky to have lots of those players and it’s a good thing.

Q: What do you like about the new F50i football boot?
I like everything about it. There are a lot of improvements which have been made and are being made and that’s the most important thing for a footballer – that you feel comfortable and that we feel comfortable – that’s important.

Q:What do teams need to do to win?
Apart from playing good football, it’s the desire to win and do things properly, as well as a bit of luck. In football you also need a lot of luck, a lot of concentration for each game because you’re up against some great teams. Just put one foot wrong and that can get you eliminated from a competition.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve received?
The best advice? I don’t know. I was once told, a long time ago – when I’d first started out – I was told simply that I should enjoy my football, do what I felt was right and not worry about what other people thought of me. I think that’s something which I’ve taken on board and it has stood me in good stead right from the start.

Q: For your own position, what is the most important tactic you have learned?
I learned to be patient and wait for the ball to come to me, to play my game and not start rushing towards midfield and lose my way, just because I’ve been impatient.

Q: How do you create a team spirit?
Hard work and desire. They have the same mentality we all have – to be united in order to achieve the goals we’ve set ourselves – and to behave like a real team.

Q: Has Maradona changed the style of football in the Argentine national side?
Yes, he has changed it a lot. The game has changed and we’re trying to copy what Barcelona does. I think any team, any national side will, if they can, reproduce that kind of football. And, as I said before, we have the players to be able to do just that.

Q: Who do you predict will qualify in your group in the World Cup?
I think the competition is very evenly balanced. Anyone has the chance to qualify and we hope we’re the first to do so. I don’t care who else gets through.

Q: What does Argentina need to do to ensure a place in the World Cup finals in 2010?
Play like we played in our first match with our new coach, with Maradona. If we play like that, Argentina can qualify and much more.

Q: Can Argentina win the World Cup in 2010? Tell me what teams you fear the most?
Of course we can win, and as I said earlier, we’ve got the players to achieve that. We’ve only just started with our new manager. There’s still a lot of work to do and I think we’ve got the time to achieve it. And I’m not frightened of any particular side, although I do respect all the big national sides – particularly Spain at the moment.

Q: Which national team do you think is playing the best?
Spain are playing beautiful yet effective football at the moment. They are either the best or one of the best sides at the moment.

Q: How do you feel about playing with Sergio “Kun” Aguero?
He’s a great player and I feel good playing with him. We’ve known each other quite a while, and it’s really nice.

Q: Messi, Tevez, Aguero – a great front three for Argentina, could you all play together?
Yes, we did it with Basile when he was still there and it went really well. So we could easily play together again.

Q: Do you like the new F50i commercial?
Actually, it’s great, I think. After having been there for quite some time shooting it I now see the result of it and it’s great.

Q: What is easier: to win an Oscar or to win the Champions League?
I do what I can, I do my best as an actor. It’s not amazing but I really try and .. well, I think we have it far easier…much more chances to win the Champions League.

Q: In the commercial we see a young Lionel Messi playing the the streets with his friends. How was your childhood in Rosario?

Well, more or less like you can see in the spot, you know. A lot of time in the streets with my friends and acquaintances. It was actually a beautiful time which I love to remember, which was very lively for a lot of reasons.

Q:How important are your boots?
They are the most important thing for a footballer. I always say it is the tool of our work and everybody has to feel as comfortable as possible in his work. Our thing is to play football, to feel good in the shoes…yes, that’s the most important thing for us.

Q: Do you feel comfortable in these shoes? What do you like about them?
M: I believe that nowadays it is no longer necessary to wear a boot for a certain time in order to finally feel comfortable in it. The boots are very well shaped, very personalized, adjusted to your feet and that makes it easier. I really like the color of the F50i, it’s a strong color that strikes the eye and calls the attention y I like that.

Q: What will you do with your boots if you win the Champions League final?
Well, keep them no? Or at least my brother will keep them. My family takes care of keeping important things for me, they are building a room with all those things and it’s probably for a museum who will keep them until I am old

Q: What is the secret of Barcelona’s success?
M: I think it’s a bit of everything: The game we play, our motivation, the training, the coach…but most of all the will to always have the ball. We have great players who play a simple and easy football which is one of the most difficult things to achieve in football and, well… it’s just having great players who create great plays. It’s a mixture of everything.

Q: What are the chances for Barcelona in the UCL final?
Well, the same as for them, isn’t it? I think, it is a game in which everything can happen, in which the other team has great players who can always make the difference. But I believe that we have to keep on doing what we have been doing all season long. This way it will be easier for us to have chances to win. I think we have been doing great work this season.

Q: How do you feel with everybody focusing your duel with Cristiano Ronaldo?
No, I do not feel like that. I think there will be two great teams facing each other, two of the biggest clubs in the world with a lot of tradition. It would actually be strange if people reduced such a game to two players. I know that our thing is to play as a team like we have been doing all season long and that’s the way we have to play in order to create scoring chances and to win the final.

Q: You are considered one of the top candidates for the World Player 2009. Will you win it?
I don’t know, I think that if we win this Champions League with out team my chances will be even bigger. I think in the last two years I among the top players, always battling for this award and in the FIFA award I was among the top three…it’s already be great to achieve that and I really hope I can win it this year.
